Woodburn I-5 RV Park
Woodburn, Oregon

We headed south on I-5 having just shopped til we dropped at Camping World in Wilsonville, Oregon. The folks had said it was a nice clean park. Boy, were they right... it was spotless! And it was spacious. Tucked right off the freeway yet near a mall, it was the perfect location.

We were greeted at the front desk by the staff, who were so nice to us throughout our stay.

We were also welcomed by Connie, the park manager, who provided us with a complete packet of information about the area.

Right next to the park is a brand new outlet shopping mall with a special gate from the RV park into the mall parking area! I'll try not to let Cindy know about this!

The store was full of everything you'd need and through another door was a large common area that could also be reserved by groups as a meeting area. There was an adjacent TV/VCR area with a sofa and tons of books for all ages, maps and puzzles and even some exercise equipment. Just outside was a large swimming pool being prepared for the Memorial Day onslaught of campers.

Almost every site was sculptured with flowers and/or hedges. The grass was freshly cut, producing that tell-tale smell and made me get the lawn chairs down so we could watch the sunset and enjoy the evening. Cindy decided to do some listings outside and I set up the laptop for her on the card table. Now this was the way to work. She looked like a kid caught with her hand in the cookie jar as she smiled and continued typing. Cindy really is having too much fun on this tour. I took off for a couple of laps on the bike and then started tacos for dinner in the Eagle.

The next morning, I did the laundry while Cindy finished adding some more clients. We had the staff sign our Travel log and hit the road North, along the Lewis & Clark Trail. But that's another story........
