AJ's Family Restaurant
Shinnston, West Virginia

Jimmy, one of the owner of AJ's, talks with Kathleen before we enjoyed our dinners. Both are leaders in the Shinnston community and are working hard on improvements for the area.

When we arrived at the restaurant, we were promptly seated and our orders taken. The decor was casual and comfortable and we felt immediately at home. The food was great, plentiful and served quickly and efficiently by Bobbi, our waitress. And don't forget, Thursdays are all-you-can-eat Spaghetti Night!

Mike chose the 21-piece shrimp dinner with French fries, corn, salad and iced tea. Cindy opted for the liver and onions with mashed potatoes, corn and diet Pepsi. Both dinners were delicious! We topped it off with a slice of chocolate pie! What a great way to end a wonderful day in Shinnston, AJ's Restaurant and great new friends. Sharing the evening with Kathleen, John and their grandkids, Justin and Jacob was so much fun. It was refreshing to meet such polite, personable kids that care about their grandparents.
