Ike and Helen Sisane have owned the home since 1984 and began welcoming bed & breakfast guests in 1988. Ike showed us to the family room downstairs. There was a king bed, 2 love seats, coffee table, night stands, alarm clock and ceiling fan. It had a 27-inch TV, books, candles, private bath with shower and butler's basket. Helen's wood and artwork were evident throughout the home as Ike proudly showed off her talents. She had put hours of love into so many details. Ike also collects "rooster and chicken" figurines.

After taking 100 or so pictures, we visited the local area a bit. The Inn is right across from William and Mary University and is perfectly situated for the short jaunt to Colonial Williamsburg. It had started to sprinkle, so we bought our Freedom Passes to Colonial Williamsburg and went shopping instead of touring today and then headed back to the home.
We visited with some of the other guests and then went to work on some of the reviews. Cindy read a book while I downloaded pictures. We watched TV and drifted off to a great night's sleep, thinking about the treat in store for breakfast tomorrow.....we had already had a preview!

Breakfast the next morning started with blueberry muffins and strawberry yogurt with bananas. There was fruit mix available as well as coffee, tea and cranberry juice. Cindy's coffee cup never got half empty, a smiling Ike was always there filling it. The main course was scrambled eggs, fried potatoes with ham and biscuits.......a real southern breakfast!

The morning conversation was about everyone's travels and adventures. A newlywed couple joined us late (grin), but jumped right into the lively conversation.
This Inn has everything; location, great facilities, and fantastic service. Ike and Helen have perfected the business and are waiting to serve you in Williamsburg. Tell them we made the recommendation when you visit their Website and make your reservations.
