Petals Garden Cafe
Sequim, Washington
Located next to the Cedarbrook Herb Farm, Petals Restaurant features "farmers market cuisine"... earthy, creative, simple food, grown locally and served with style. The proprietor is Brandy Salmon and our chef was Pat Allen.
We had stopped by BJ's Garden B&B and asked BJ to join us for dinner. After hearing where we were headed, she quickly agreed to go. Soft music greeted us as we arrived at the restaurant. Our waitress showed us to a corner table. The artwork throughout the restaurant was progressive and brightly colored. BJ and Gerry both enjoyed the work as they knew the artists that had created the works.
Our waitress was quickly to the table and had our orders to us almost as fast. Cindy chose the petite filet mignon and I decided to have the T-bone steak. Both came with gorgonzola butter, oven baked potatoes and spring vegetables. Afterwards, I was too full to have dessert but Cindy thought the review needed a dessert, so she suffered(?) through the 911 Chocolate Fix. She moaned her sufferings through the entire process which we all enjoyed seeing.
When in Sequim, make sure you stop (reservations recommended) at Petals Garden Cafe, dine in comfort and be sure to tell them Cruising America says HI!
