We have stayed or dined at locations that have the carousel next to their name where they are listed in our guides.
We offer our reviews of them to help you plan your getaways!
When you stop by, please be sure to tell them we said, " HI!"

The Pole
Moclips, Washington

How about a really "unique" campsite? This was a first for us and we couldn't pass up the opportunity. When Linda Scott contacted us, I thought at first she was kidding about what she had for us to review. But she was excited about it and after a few more emails, we added her to the tour schedule.

It seems Linda has a spot literally on the beach. The dunes were only a few feet long and then you were on the beach. It was the closest we were able to get to a beach front site on the tour so far.

At the site, which is secluded by high scrubbery, was a telephone pole with electricity, water and sewer hookups. We were right next to beach houses, but the shrubbery gave us plenty of privacy. There was no phone or TV hookups but with our view, we had plenty of entertainment.

Cindy and Lexxus had a blast walking on the beach and I found 65 sand dollars in perfect condition. We grilled steaks on the BBQ and enjoyed the cool ocean breeze. This would be the perfect spot for anyone wanting to campout with privacy just steps from the ocean.

Contact Linda at lrheinschmidt@home.com or Dea at the Ruby Slipper - (360) 276-8173 - or visit her Website and set up your reservation, because once this site becomes known, it'll be hard to get in. And when you do, tell them Cruising America said "Hi"!
