Huff House Inn Bed & Breakfast
Jackson Hole, Wyoming

It was Halloween night when we arrived in Jackson to stay at the Huff House. After what Cindy considered a treacherous trip through the pass on our way to Jackson, the lights of the courtyard beckoned. Our cottage, Willow, had our name on the door. We were greeted with a pitcher of fresh milk in a bowl of ice and spooky Halloween cookies!
Mikey was won over immedately, of course.

The room was large and open. A quick overview showed a TV/VCR, dresser, closet, sofa-bed, recliner, king bed with down comforter, books and magazines, ivy handpainted accents on the walls, mirrors, plush carpet, night stands, alarm clock and beautiful paintings that were shown to perfection by the recessed track lighting.

The bathroom showed just as much attention to detail with plenty of great fluffy towels, two sinks, a hair dryer, soaps and shampoo (bio-degradable), Jacuzzi garden tub, wreaths on the wall and a scented candle on the tub.

After "moving in", a soak in the tub with just the candle and the crystal teddy bear night light, set the mood for a perfect relaxing evening. As we settled down for the night, the bed was perfect with great sheets and that down comforter.

8:00 a.m. and breakfast seemed to arrive so fast. Talking with Jackie and Weldon at breakfast was fun as they told us about their place, made us laugh and feel like we were part of their family. Breakfast started with grapefruit and we were fortunate enough to be there on a morning when Jackie served her great Overnight Apple French Toast with applesauce topping and yogurt along with sausage patties and several kinds of breads. It was heavenly! The meal was topped off with juice, coffee, hot chocolate and tea.

All of the rooms in the cottages and the main house are large and have private baths. Each one is decorated beautifully and invites one to stay for more than one night! The living room is filled with memorabilia, books and games. There is a player piano and comfortable sofas and chairs arranged before the fireplace. Outside there is a picnic table, gas grill, soft drink machine, redwood swing and of course, a large hot tub! The courtyard provides plenty of off-street parking as well.

It's so special, you'll have to Visit Their Website, to see for yourself.
