We were welcomed and shown to our site. Cindy was happy because of the instant phone. "Cactus Mac" (Mac McLaughlin) came by and made sure we got online. Then he told us about the history of the park and the area. He was extremely helpful and we enjoyed visiting with him.

The park had once been a mobile home park, but slowly it had been converted. What we saw was very impressive and clean. It was also conveniently located near shopping, and a post office for us to send out some CD and book orders.
I took pictures, especially of the pool area. I could have easily spent a week in this area alone. The pool sparkled and had a dancing water spout that was an interesting feature.

Cindy, Lexxus and I took an evening walk around the park. The breeze was blowing and I kept thinking Corpus Christi was a nice place to raise a family. It was a quiet park and the neighborhood was so peaceful.

The office/camp store area offered a paperback book trade (which Cindy had to hit before we left of course) as well as a modem dataport for those who did not have one of the instant phone hookup sites but needed to get email.
Conveniently located near museums, events and malls, this park is a great way to see all Corpus Christi has to offer. So, next time you are vacationing, check out Hatch RV Park, make your reservations and be sure to tell them we said HI!
