Destiny's Oasis RV Resort
Las Vegas, Nevada

Destiny's Oasis RV Resort represented our only scheduled review in Nevada. It turned out to be one of the best. This resort is one of the best parks concerning layout, staffing and organization that we have encountered thus far in our travels.

A state of the art park, each site has complete hookups, including instant phone (!!!!) and cable TV. The sites are level, paved and well spaced.

We were immediately escorted to our premium site and then taken to the area where vendors were setting up for a RV Expo that had been planned for the weekend. Our booth was right next to Camping World (where we met the perfect Camping World Ambassadors - Betty & Wendell Snydal!). Dozens of motor homes, fifth wheels and travel trailers were brought in and hundreds of people attended the event.

It really impressed us how the Oasis tries to accommodate its' guests with shuttles to take them all over town and post schedules of the shuttles. Oasis has even organized a 700 plus page catalog full of RV accessories to help. There are over 100 video movies for rent at the desk. Also available is personalized concierge service for just about anywhere you'd want to go or anything you'd want to do in Vegas.

There were two pools, an adult one and a family pool, and even a "beach"! Adjacent to the adult pool was also a hot tub. Water aerobics classes are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. And if you wish to attend there are church services in the main building on Sundays and Bible Study on Thursdays.

There are six bathhouses with six showers in each located throughout the park. The facilities are entirely private.....just like your bathroom at home. And everything was spotless! There was a large store and of course it had a few gaming machines. There was also a restaurant, where we enjoyed a breakfast buffet on Saturday. Meeting rooms are available for events and the park has been host to many weddings and receptions.

A new interest for many RVers are the putting courses that are popping up around the country. And Oasis has one! They are trying to join other parks in tournaments. Anyone interested should contact the resort for further details.

A truly wonderful resort and certainly one of our most recommended! Visit their Website and when you make YOUR reservations, be sure to tell them Cruising America said Hi!
