Deerhill Inn & Restaurant

*NOTE* -- After running a very successful restaurant, that had previously been in Teddy Roosevelt's family, Linda and Michael Anelli got an offer they "couldn't refuse". So they sold it and went to the Florida Keys for a few years, but...,
"It's in our blood," said Linda.

Thus, in 1994, they opened The Deerhill Inn & Restaurant in West Dover, Vermont. The Inn consists of 15 rooms. Upon our arrival, Michael was just putting the finishing touches to a new inground swimming pool and an area of the property designed to facilitate weddings. On our tour of the Inn, we were pleased to see that every price range for rooms had been taken into consideration and all the rooms were decorated with the same fine attention to detail, including paintings and artwork from various local artists.

Our first official review of a restaurant follows:
First off, let us say there is no way we can explain how delicious this meal was. You must go -- YOU MUST! If you like fine dining in a great place... you must "experience" this one.

Lynn Hall was our server and took excellent care of us. After a glass of wine, we were taken to the best seat in the house at the window watching chipmunks and birds eat from a feeder and a great view of the Vermont countryside.
